About RTM Global

Our story, our team, and our commitment to structured, science-guided trauma recovery.

Our Story

RTM Global started with a straightforward question: Can people recover from trauma without having to relive it?
In the aftermath of September 11, 2001, Dr. Frank Bourke began working with first responders who were struggling with PTSD. Traditional therapies often required them to repeatedly retell their experiences — a process that could feel like re-traumatization.
Over two decades, Dr. Bourke developed the RTM Protocol™ — a structured, step-by-step process now supported by 7 clinical trials and 14 peer-reviewed publications, with 70–96% symptom remission rates.

A Unified Mission

Formerly the Post-Traumatic Training Institute (PTTI), now RTM Global.
